Beautiful image of Lady Ava's Tower on The Hesdin Estate, a large countryside house with pool and entertainment spaces in Airbnbs near Bath, perfect for a hen weekend.

The Most Beautiful Airbnbs in Bath for a Hen Weekend

Bath has high standards for a hen weekend — and the Airbnbs follow suit. Think Georgian proportions, honey-stone everything, and interiors that look like they’ve been styled within an inch of their lives (in a good way). It’s not a chaotic weekend city — the pace is slower, the outfits are better, and the houses lean into it.

From a 1729 townhouse once owned by a friend of Jane Austen to a rooftop hot tub that the entire weekend revolves around, we’ve rounded up the Bath Airbnbs worth booking for a girls’ weekend.

Tylney House, Bath Centre

SLEEPS 12

Elegant Georgian interiors with large windows and refined dining space in Airbnbs in Bath for a hen weekend.

Tylney House is Georgian, quietly grand place that beckons you to make one too many Lady Whistledown references. Designed in 1729 by John Wood (and once home to a friend of Jane Austen) it leans fully into the Bridgerton fantasy without feeling like a themed stay. Inside, it’s light, calm, and exactly what you want after a day of pottering about the city. The living/dining set-up is elegant rather than oversized — this isn’t a chaotic, everyone-piled-in kind of house — but it works for a group who are mostly out, then back for wine and a debrief. Location is the real win, though. You’re in it. Roman Baths, Pump Rooms, spa, shops — all within five minutes’ walk.

Good to know: This is for a civilised hen. Think vibey dinner in Bath, early-ish mornings, and at least one person suggesting a group walk. If you’re after chaos, look elsewhere.

From £996 per night

Opulent Townhouse, Bath Centre

SLEEPS 12–14

Bright townhouse with high ceilings and large sash windows in Airbnbs in Bath for a hen weekend.

If you’re coming to Bath, you may as well commit to the bit. And this is the bit. Set on one of the filming streets for Bridgerton, that tells you everything you need to know. High ceilings, big windows, very polished and very put-together. Inside, it’s more modern than historic, but in a way that works. A bit of velour, a lot of navy. It sleeps 12-14… more if you start pulling out sofa beds, but like most Bath townhouses, it’s at its best when you don’t push it. Location-wise, it’s about as good as it gets. It’s central, but on a quieter street, so you’re steps from everything without feeling like you’re living above a pub.

Good to know: This is a looks like the photos (if not better) place. It’s also one of the few places that manages to feel both designed and actually functional for a group.

From £1,681 per night

St Paul’s House, Bath Centre

SLEEPS 10–13

Rooftop terrace with hot tub overlooking Bath rooftops in Airbnbs in Bath for a hen weekend.

From the outside, St Paul’s House is regal. Honey stone, quiet street, potentially a bit posh. But that’s not what you’re booking it for. You’re booking it for the roof. A rooftop terrace in Bath is rare enough. Add a hot tub, and it becomes the reason the whole weekend revolves around this house. Morning coffees turn into just ten minutes in the hot tub, which turns into an hour. Pre-drinks. Late-night debriefs. If that wasn’t enough, across the road, you’ll find The Scallop Shell, which has the best fish and chips you’ll ever taste (caveat: after three too many Negronis).

Good to know: Everything’s set over multiple floors (very Bath), so pack light if you can. It can sleep 13, but like most places, it’s better when you’re not squeezing every last person in.

From £1,509 per night

St Catherine’s Courtyard Apartments, Bath Centre

SLEEPS 20–28 (if you’re feeling ambitious)

Quiet courtyard of private apartments with shared outdoor space in Airbnbs in Bath for a hen weekend.

First off, 28 friends is wild. I don’t think I could name 28 people I’d willingly share a bathroom with. But if your bride does — or more realistically, if the hen has spiralled into school friends, cousins, and a wildcard plus-one, this is one of the few setups that makes sense of it. Instead of cramming everyone into one slightly chaotic house, this is ten separate one-bedroom apartments arranged around a quiet courtyard, right in the centre of Bath. It’s giving monastery, but in a good way. Everyone gets their own space. Big beds. Enough bathrooms. A door to close when it all gets a bit much. And then you meet back in the courtyard, regroup, and do it all again. Split across a full group, you’re looking at roughly £150 per person for a two-night stay, which, for central Bath and this kind of setup, is worth it.

Good to know: It’s spread across multiple apartments, so you won’t all be in one space — which is either the entire appeal or not for you at all.

From £2,424 per night

BOOK NOW

Celebration House, Bath Centre

SLEEPS 10–13

No sweeping staircases or Jane Austen references here, just a nice house with a bed for everyone. Set across multiple floors (brace yourself), it’s one of those layouts that actually works in real life. Downstairs is where it pulls its weight. A proper kitchen and dining setup that can handle a full group without feeling cramped, plus a living room that’s actually big enough to sit in together, which Bath rentals don’t always manage. It’s giving a modern show home, but in a way that’s clean and easy rather than soulless. It also comes with a few small wins that don’t feel small when you arrive — a well-stocked kitchen (rare), space to properly get ready, and, crucially, Prosecco waiting for you. Which, for a hen, is basically essential infrastructure. It’s not perfect — a bit of wear in places, and the heating has a mind of its own, but all very worth it for the location.

Good to know: Lots of stairs (pack accordingly), and while it can sleep 13, it’s most comfortable slightly under that unless everyone’s happy to share. But for a central Bath base that actually functions for a group, this is a very easy yes.

From £644 per night

Bloomfield House, Bath Centre

SLEEPS 16

Grand Georgian manor with high ceilings and elegant dining room in Airbnbs in Bath for a hen weekend.

Set just outside the city, Bloomfield House is the full Georgian manor fantasy. Inside, it’s exactly what you want it to be. High ceilings, sash windows, proper proportions — but balanced with a renovation that makes it actually liveable. A drawing room that feels made for slow mornings, a cinema room asking for Bridesmaids, and a dining table that seats 16 with ease. With nine bedrooms in total, all en-suite (already a win), you’re spoiled for choice. Two standout master suites feel hotel-level — freestanding stone baths, dressing spaces, the whole thing – and then, slightly unexpectedly, a built-in bunk room for six, which gives sleepover vibes in the best way. Location-wise, you’re about a 20-minute walk into Bath — close enough to dip in and out, but far enough that it feels like a retreat rather than a base. FYI, It’s not cheap. But it’s also not pretending to be. This is the kind of place you book when the hen weekend is less about squeezing into bars and more about actually enjoying where you’re staying.

Good to know: Bloomfield has a three-night minimum, which can sometimes be a hard sell for a hen weekend, especially when it’s on the pricier side. Also, once you’ve done Bath like this, it’s hard to go back.

From £2,143 per night

Luxury Townhouse with Garden, Bath Centre

SLEEPS 12–14

Set just outside the centre on London Road, it’s not the postcard Bath location, but it’s close enough that you can walk in (via pubs, which helps), and far enough out that you’ve got peace. Inside, it’s a mix of modern and slightly classic — not full Regency fantasy, but not bland either. Where it slightly shifts is the layout. The kitchen sits down in the basement, which means a fair amount of up-and-down, fine in theory, less ideal after a few drinks or when you’ve forgotten something (again). And the road out front is busy, so if you’re in one of the front bedrooms, you’ll hear it.

Good to know: Slightly out of centre, a bit of road noise at the front, and the kitchen being downstairs is a commitment. But, really affordable, so it balances out.

From £775 per night

Central Townhouse with Garden, Bath Centre

SLEEPS 12–14

Georgian townhouse with garden seating and spacious kitchen in Airbnbs in Bath for a hen weekend.

Five floors of Georgian proportions, two proper living rooms (rare), and a kitchen that can actually handle a full group. Outside, there’s a proper garden (again, rare for central Bath), with seating, lighting, and a BBQ setup that would absolutely come into its own in summer. It’s the kind of space that makes you cancel plans and stay in with a bottle of something cold instead. Location-wise, it’s exactly where you want to be. Walkable to everything — Roman Baths, shops, restaurants — but just far enough removed that you nab two private parking spaces. A win.

Good to know: It’s on a main road, so front-facing rooms will get some traffic noise. Also worth noting this is a real home, so expect a bit of personality rather than a stripped-back rental feel. But if your priority is space that actually works for a group, this is one of the strongest options in Bath.

Mignon House, Abbey Green

SLEEPS 16

Characterful Georgian home near Abbey Green with cosy bedrooms in Airbnbs in Bath for a hen weekend.

Set just off Abbey Green (yes, that square), this Georgian townhouse is the perfect balance of original features and modern practicalities. The layout is… generous. Six bedrooms, a lot of single beds, and a fair few futons quietly doing some heavy lifting. It technically sleeps 16, and it can, but with compromise. Where you won’t compromise is the location. You’re seconds from the Roman Baths, the Abbey, the shops, and the wine bars you said you’d just have one at. There is a trade-off. You are right in the centre, so yes — you’ll hear people heading home, heels on cobbles, the occasional late-night energy drifting up. But equally, you’re the ones contributing to it, so, fair.

Good to know: This is less about luxury and more about location and capacity. It works best for groups who are happy to lean into the slightly chaotic, all-in-one-house energy.

The Natterjack Glamping Site, Bath

SLEEPS 10–20

Lotus belle tents in countryside setting with outdoor space in Airbnbs in Bath for a hen weekend.

How brave are you? Would you consider glamping? If so, we raise you five lotus belle tents scattered across orchards and open countryside, no WiFi, and too much wine. Each tent is self-contained (which is the saving grace). Proper beds, your own shower and toilet, heated blankets — so you’re not fully committing to the wilderness. It’s glamping in the way people actually want it to be: aesthetic, comfortable, and just rustic enough to feel like you’ve done something wholesome. The perfect anti-hen for the bride that never wanted one in the first place.

Good to know: This is a slower, softer kind of hen. Less chaos, more connection. Perfect for the bride who wants candles over clubs — and for a group willing to fully lean into it.

From £1,519 per night

The Ridge, Bath Countryside

SLEEPS 10–12

If glamping is one step too far, consider The Ridge. Set on the same site as The Natterjack, it’s the beautiful house that’s set in the countryside, but doesn’t necessarily feel like it. You’re not slumming it here. While you’ve got ten acres of meadow and woodland, you’ve also got access to a Dyson airwrap and a fridge stocked with Whispering Angel. And crucially — you’re still only about 10 minutes from Bath. So you can do the wholesome countryside reset and dip into the city for a dinner or a wander without it too much fuss.

Good to know: This is the calm, elevated option. No chaos, no compromises — just space, views, and a house that actually delivers. Perfect for a hen that’s more reset than rager.

Lower Shockerwick Farm, Near Bath

SLEEPS 10–15

Rustic farmhouse kitchen with long dining table and wood-burning stove in Airbnbs in Bath for a hen weekend.

A 17th-century farmhouse that’s been renovated without stripping out the charm — think big, light-filled kitchen with a long refectory table (the kind that accidentally hosts four-hour dinners), wood-burning stove, low beams, and just enough polish that it doesn’t feel twee. It’s giving The Holiday, but less Cameron Diaz, more last fling before the ring. Where it really works is for a hen that wants to lean into the wholesome side of things. Big shared rooms, garden games, BBQs, slow mornings. Location-wise, you’re about 15–20 minutes into Bath. So you can do a city dinner or spa moment if you want — but realistically, most groups end up staying put. And you won’t feel like you’re missing out.

Good to know: Two bathrooms for up to 15 people requires a plan. And this is very much a “bring your comfies, not your heels” kind of stay. But if you want fresh air, long dinners, and a house that actually feels like a weekend away, this is a very good one.

From £1,157 per night

Grand Residences, Bath Centre

SLEEPS 10–12

Elegant Georgian interiors with soft neutral tones and high ceilings in Airbnbs in Bath for a hen weekend.

Set across two interconnected Georgian homes, Grand Residences is made for a group trip. You’re together, but not on top of each other — which, after 24 hours of getting ready in the same mirror, becomes quite important. One side leans more self-contained apartment, the other is your main social space, and between the two you get a layout that feels considered rather than crammed. Interiors are very much quiet luxury. High ceilings, sash windows, soft light, neutral tones. Nothing shouty, nothing themed, just very well put together. Bedrooms are calm, comfortable, and refreshingly not an afterthought. Not a bunk bed in sight.

Good to know: This is firmly on the civilised hen end of the spectrum. No parties, no chaos, no “one more round?” at 4am. Also, it’s Georgian — so yes, there are stairs. Consider it part of the aesthetic.

From £1,267 per night

BOOK NOW

Belvedere Townhouse, Bath Centre

SLEEPS 10–12

Bright orangery with seating and garden views in Airbnbs in Bath for a hen weekend.

Georgian bones, high ceilings, and importantly, an orangery on the back of the house that is begging you to pop the Prosecco. Set just a short walk from the centre, the location does exactly what you need it to. Close enough that everything is easy, far enough that you’re not in the middle of the chaos (not that Bath ever really does chaos, but still). A mix of super kings and singles means no one’s drawing the absolute short straw, although the top-floor room (four singles) comes with a steep staircase situation. Fine for the hungover and able-bodied, less ideal if you’re not in the mood for a mini climb before bed.

Good to know: Steep stairs to the top bedroom, bathrooms not evenly spread across floors, and parking requires a bit of planning — but the orangery alone kind of makes up for it.

Lady Ava’s Tower, Near Bath

SLEEPS 24

Large countryside house with pool and entertainment spaces in Airbnbs in Bath for a hen weekend.

If ever there was a hen weekend house fit for a main character, it’s this one. Set on the edge of an estate with nothing but countryside in front of you, Lady Ava’s Tower is one of a kind. First, pool. Heated year-round. Stunning. A 12ft shuffleboard, a pool table, arcade games, and the stripey pink couch of dreams. Days here blur into long, slightly chaotic hangs that start with macha and somehow end at the BBQ with a drink you didn’t plan on having. There are nine bedrooms, seven in the main house and two in the tower (which, is as good as it sounds). Meanwhile, the master sleeping seven becomes either the best or worst room, depending on your tolerance for late-night debriefs. The only real trade-off is location. You’re not stumbling anywhere. Bath is about 30 minutes away, so this is a stay in kind of stay. But with a house like this, fine.

Good to know: Once you’re here, you won’t want to leave. Lady Ava (and all of the Hesdin houses) operate a three-night minimum stay policy. Get in touch to ask if there’s any movement on this for your specific dates, Laurie is really responsive.
