A big night out in Ibiza, with DJs, packed crowds and iconic party spots for a girls’ trip or hen weekend on the island.

The Ibiza Nights Worth Booking For A Hen Weekend

You probably aren’t going to Ibiza for an early night. Sunset drinks become dinner, dinner becomes clubbing, and clubbing somehow becomes sunrise with no one quite willing to take responsibility. The hard part is not finding somewhere to go — it is finding somewhere that works for the whole group. The bride who wants a big Ibiza moment, the friend who cares about the DJ, and the person who has quietly started worrying about the taxi home.

For a hen weekend or girls’ trip, consider this your shortlist for the nights worth booking.

Cafe Mambo Ibiza, San Antonio

€€€ | Sunset DJs, late-night drinks

At Café Mambo, sunset is the point, but it is rarely the end of the night. Set on San Antonio’s sunset strip, it is one of Ibiza’s most recognisable pre-club rituals: cocktails facing the water, big-name DJs, and the island’s most committed sunset applause. For a hen, it works because it still feels like a destination without asking everyone to commit to a superclub straight away. Book for golden hour, stay longer than planned, then decide whether the night is heading to Pacha, Amnesia or simply not moving at all.

Good to know: Sunset tables need booking, especially in high season. Expect minimum spends rather than casual walk-in drinks.

Pikes Ibiza, San Antonio

€€€ | Guestlist, DJs, late-night

If Café Mambo is where the night starts prettily, Pikes is where it starts behaving less predictably. Hidden away in the hills outside San Antonio, it is less polished superclub, more old-Ibiza house party with a guestlist and better stories: poolside drinks, Freddie’s, secret rooms, disco, karaoke and a layout that feels a little like a maze once the night gets going. It is over-27s, phone cameras are covered on entry, and the whole thing feels cooler for not trying to document itself. A good option for a group that wants character over scale, but not one to wing with a big hen party.

Pacha Ibiza, Ibiza Town

€€€€ | DJs, nightclub

Pacha is the classic Ibiza club for a reason. The cherries still mean something, and if you are only doing one big club, this is the name most people will recognise. The Ibiza Town location makes it easy to build into a night that starts with dinner or marina drinks, and compared with Hï or Ushuaïa, it is surprisingly navigable once you’re inside. Still packed, still expensive, still very Ibiza — but one of the safer superclub bets for a mixed group.

Good to know: Buy tickets in advance and choose by night, not just by venue. Prices vary massively depending on the residency or headline DJ, and drinks inside are not where anyone is saving money.

Hi Ibiza, Playa d’en Bossa

€€€€ | DJs, superclub

is your full superclub. In the middle of Playa d’en Bossa, it is huge, glossy and built around headline DJs, big production and multiple rooms, so it is not the place for a vague “shall we see?” plan. Go when the DJ matters, or when the group wants the full Ibiza club experience rather than somewhere to dip in for one drink. It is impressive, expensive and slightly overwhelming — in a way that is either exactly the point, or absolutely not for you.

Good to know: Tickets are usually around €70+, depending on the night. Book early for the biggest events, agree a meeting point inside, and wear shoes you can last in.

Ushuaia Ibiza, Playa d’en Bossa

€€€€ | Open-air club, DJs

Ushuaïa is the famous open-air club: hotel backdrop, poolside stage, headline DJs and the kind of scale that makes it feel like a proper Ibiza moment. It is a different kind of commitment to Hï or Amnesia because it starts earlier, which can actually work for a hen group. Build the day around it: beach, lunch, hotel change, then arrive before the main set rather than treating it like a midnight club.

Good to know: Tickets are usually around €70+, depending on the event. Arrive for the main set, not after it — the timing catches people out more than anything else here.

Amnesia, San Rafael

€€€€ | DJs, nightclub

Set in San Rafael, Amnesia is away from the marina gloss and beach-club staging, with a reputation built on big club nights, the Terrace, the Main Room and a much less delicate approach to the evening. This is not Ushuaïa’s open-air show. It is late, loud and best for a group that actually wants the club part, not just the photo evidence.

Good to know: Tickets are often around €50+, depending on the night. Wear something you can survive several hours in.

Cova Santa, San Jose

€€€€ | Open-air events, DJs, restaurant

Cova Santa is a love-it-or-leave-it option. Me personally? Love. Found in the hills near San José, it sits somewhere between open-air club, restaurant and full Ibiza experience: dinner under the stars, DJ-led nights, theatrical production and that slightly surreal feeling the island does very well when it is not trying too hard. It is not as casual as Café Mambo and not as clubby as Hï, which is exactly why it works. For the group that wants something planned, polished and a bit more unexpected, it sits in its own sweet spot.

Good to know: Check the specific event before booking, because Cova Santa changes by night. Some parties start early evening and can run into the early hours; tickets and dinner/table options vary by event.
