Hope Street Hotel
The boutique spa hotel for a Liverpool hen that doesn’t feel like one. Twin rooms, a rooftop-suite and a spa worth sacrificing Sunday morning for.
Hope Street Hotel is Liverpool’s original boutique hotel, and it still feels refreshingly independent. Spread across a collection of historic buildings in the Georgian Quarter, its rooms mix exposed brick, timber beams and warm wood with clean, unfussy interiors rather than anything overly themed.
For groups, the room set-up is genuinely useful. King and King Deluxe rooms can be configured as twins, while Studio Rooms sleep up to four and some include sofa beds. Studio Suites also accommodate four, giving you more breathing room for luggage, getting ready and the inevitable pile of outfits nobody actually wears.
The other reason to choose it is the spa. There’s a 15-metre pool, outdoor vitality pool, saunas, steam room and treatment spaces downstairs, plus two restaurants and multiple private-event rooms upstairs. It feels more polished girls’ weekend than party hotel, which is exactly the appeal if Liverpool is the destination but Concert Square chaos isn’t the whole itinerary.
Hope Street Hotel sits in Liverpool’s Georgian Quarter, between the city’s two cathedrals and opposite the Philharmonic Hall. Bold Street, the Baltic Triangle, Liverpool ONE and the city-centre bars are all walkable, while Lime Street station is around fifteen minutes away on foot. The immediate area feels noticeably calmer and more polished than the main nightlife strips, which works well for groups who want dinner, drinks and a spa morning without committing to sleeping above the loudest part of town.
Features
Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is by 11am. Spa access is not automatically included with every room booking and should be checked before sale. The spa is over-18s only. Parking is nearby rather than in a large onsite hotel car park, and explicit hen acceptance should still be confirmed directly.

The roof top suite was absolutely fantastic for wedding preparations and provided ample space for Make up Artists, photographers and bridesmaids.
Our bedroom was interesting in design and spacious. The public areas are exceptional.
Bed was very comfy but just a slight issue with noise, although I am a light sleeper.
