The Beckford Bottle Shop is for the group that would much rather drink something genuinely good than spend the afternoon playing novelty games. Part wine shop, part bistro, it has the kind of quietly buzzy atmosphere that works beautifully for a smaller hen.
The shelves are packed with bottles while the bistro serves Michelin Bib Gourmand-winning sharing plates, British cheese, charcuterie and more than thirty wines by the glass. Beckford Bottle Shop is open Tuesday to Saturday from 11am to 11pm. The venue currently advertises its bistro and extensive by-the-glass wine list rather than a fixed public tasting package, so group tastings should be treated as an enquiry-led booking.
