Lucia is the York brunch for a group that wants something pretty without going straight into full-volume chaos. Floral walls, striped awnings and a courtyard that feels vaguely European do most of the atmosphere-setting, while the bottomless format keeps the rest of the afternoon extremely simple.
The current La Dolce Vita experience starts with two courses from the Italian menu plus 90 minutes of free-flowing Prosecco. It is polished rather than rowdy, which makes it a particularly good first booking for a hen that wants the weekend to start over proper food before York inevitably becomes louder later.

Lucia’s current La Dolce Vita bottomless experience costs £65 per person for two courses and 90 minutes of free-flowing Prosecco, or £72 for three courses. It is available all day, every day.
Standard online bottomless bookings are currently capped at eight guests, so larger hen groups should enquire directly. A card is required to secure the booking, with a £10 per person charge for late cancellations or no-shows.
