A Wine, Small Plates and Vinyl Afternoon at Row
Row Wines is for the bride who likes the idea of brunch but would rather swap Prosecco panic for natural wine, small plates and a very good sound system. Inspired by Japanese listening bars, the Coppinger Row spot mixes seasonal Irish food, vinyl and a room that gets gradually livelier as the evening goes on.
Friday afternoon is particularly useful: two plates and a glass of house wine for €30, then absolutely no requirement to leave once the offer technically ends. Order another glass, move onto margaritas if required and let the first afternoon of the weekend stretch for as long as it deserves.
The current €30 special includes any two plates and a glass of house wine. It runs Monday to Thursday from 5pm and on Fridays from midday until 4pm.
This is not bottomless and that is rather the appeal. Row specialises in natural, organic and biodynamic wines, with cocktails currently around €14 if the afternoon moves in that direction.
