The Address Wren
A brand new hotel pairing twin rooms, polished interiors and location that’s hard to beat (literally, Central Station).
The Address Wren is what you book when the bride has categorically declined a hen but is very much still available for two nights of restaurants, cocktails and everyone being in the same city. Opened in July 2026, it has just 30 bedrooms tucked onto the penthouse floor of the old Caledonian Chambers above Glasgow Central Station.
Rooms are calm and polished rather than trying painfully hard to be cool, with blush tones, darker accents, big mirrors and proper twin options for friends sharing. There’s also enough storage that nobody has to live out of an exploded carry-on for the weekend.
The trade-off is that this isn’t a stay-all-night hotel. There’s a small guest lounge for breakfast, but no destination restaurant or cocktail bar of its own. In this location, that’s hardly disastrous. Central Glasgow is downstairs, quite literally, and the sister hotel’s restaurant and wellness facilities are nearby if required.
Important: The hotel’s current policy does not accept hen parties. This is only suitable for a genuine bridesmaids or girls’ city break where the bride has opted out of a traditional hen.
The Address Wren sits above Glasgow Central Station, which makes arrival impressively difficult to mess up. Buchanan Street, Argyle Street, Merchant City and some of the city’s best restaurants and bars are all comfortably walkable, while Queen Street station is nearby too. It’s ideal for a group arriving from different directions: drop the bags, regroup upstairs, then head straight back out. The only real risk is somebody cutting things so fine on Sunday that checkout and the train home become the same event.
Features
The hotel sits on the sixth floor of Caledonian Chambers and can be entered through Glasgow Central Station or from 87 Union Street. Outside station opening hours, use the Union Street entrance. There’s no onsite parking.

The Address Wren is newly opened and currently has a very small Tripadvisor review base, so we’re not padding this section with filler.
