Palma gets the hen weekend brief better than most: beach-club polish and that sun-on-your-skin ease, balanced with an old town filled with wine bars that’ll have her mother-in-law tucked up by 3pm. The real luxury, though, is the hotels. Palma’s best stays come with rooftop pools, terraces that make staying in the smart move, and interiors you’ll immediately want to recreate at home.
Whether you’re basing yourselves in the old town for walkable tapas-and-nightcaps energy, or edging closer to the coast for wake-up-and-swim mornings, these are the stays we’d book for a Palma hen weekend.

DISCLAIMER: These are luxury-leaning picks, curated for a group that wants five-star fuss and are happy to pay for it. Not to worry, we've also curated budget-friendly stays for hens in Palma.
If I could dream up a luxe hen destination, it's basically Bikini Island & Mountain is Port de Sóller (with potentially a little less matcha green). Important to note, it's not Palma, it's just short of an hour from the airport, but it might just be worth it to go astray. Think boho-glam interiors, incredible drinks, and sea views that make the whole group go quiet for a second. It’s adults-only, design-led, and built around the idea of spending the day there without feeling like you’re missing out.
WHY IT WORKS: It’s made for girly weekends. There are big social terraces for the first spritz, rooms with black-out curtains for the morning after, and a heated outdoor pool plus spa/sauna/steam. You’re also close enough to dip into town when the night calls, just 450 yards to town and 350 yards to the beach. Uber, who?
INSIDER TIP: Do it in two speeds. Spend the day poolside (Pikkini for drinks), then switch to Donkey Bar for sundowners when the mountains start silhouetting, and book a long, sharey dinner at NENI.

Puro Grand is the kind of Palma stay that feels like you’ve been let in on a secret. Tucked into Old Town inside a beautiful former palace, it’s all high ceilings, stone staircases and that cool, calm design that makes you instantly slow down. It’s the sort of hotel where you’ll catch yourself padding around in a robe, strawberries in hand, fully committed to people-watching from French doors over cobbled streets — while the girls are inside doing hair and passing round the SPF. Everything feels considered: calming neutrals, marble-bright bathrooms, and those little luxuries (steamer, slippers, good products) that make getting ready feel smooth, not chaotic. And the best part? With just 16 rooms, it genuinely feels like you’ve got the place to yourselves. It’s intimate, peaceful, and quietly exclusive without trying to be a scene.
WHY IT WORKS: Puro Grand sits only 15–20 minutes from the airport by taxi, and you can pre-arrange transport through the hotel prior to arrival. Ideal for the maid of honour who's already stressed. There’s also a proper on-site bar and restaurant (hello Beatnik) for that first-night anchoring drink before dinner plans, plus a roof terrace with a plunge pool for a cute sunset moment when you want a bit of sun without committing to a beach club. And yes, it's hard to ignore the Airbnb feeling: with only 16 rooms, it comes with you’ve-got-the-place-to-yourselves energy, without the added hassle.
INSIDER TIP: Start slow: courtyard breakfast in the morning, then Palma all day. Come back for a sunset cocktail on the roof terrace and let the hotel do the hosting.
Set in a restored 19th-century mansion on one of Old Town’s prettiest squares, Sant Francesc is the boujie pick. It’s elegant but not pretentious: rooms with original character, contemporary art, and that expensive atmosphere that instantly makes a girls’ weekend feel more grown-up. With a rooftop terrace with a pool and bar for sunset cocktails, a chic lobby bar in the courtyard for a first-night meet-up, and Quadrat Restaurant & Garden for an effortless dinner when nobody can be bothered with planning, it comes with a ready-made itinerary.
WHY IT WORKS: You’re right in the historic centre, so it's an easy walk to the marina and only 15–20 minutes from the airport by taxi. Breakfast is also a dream — buffet plus à la carte options (so the early risers and the hungover girls can both be catered for).
INSIDER TIP: If you’re set on a proper rooftop moment, time it for the summer rooftop bar hours (non-residents can only access the rooftop bar at set times).

El Llorenç is Palma’s cool-girl address: tucked into the historic quarter, the headline is the rooftop: Palma’s longest infinity pool with notorious emerald parasols, Balinese beds, and a cocktail-bar set-up that makes the whole hen feel instantly more put-together (even if you’re all running on three hours sleep and dry shampoo).
WHY IT WORKS: It’s adults-only and walkable for Old Town dinners, so no taxi chaos. The rooftop pool is guest-only, so it stays exclusive , and the wellness side is the perfect hangover reset: spa treatments + hydrotherapy/thermal bits when you need to become a person again.
INSIDER TIP: When the hotel’s busy, sunbeds can be a scramble in the afternoon. Be warned, restaurant is formal (Michelin formal) and doesn't give party vibes. And for arrival logistics: check-in is 3pm (check-out 12pm), so if you’re landing earlier, push for early check-in or plan to drop bags and head straight to the rooftop/spa.

Mallorca meets the Italian riviera, Bon Sol is the viral Tik Tok hotel you've probably already seen. Sunshine-yellow everything, terraced sun decks, pine-shaded corners, and a little cove you can swim straight into. It’s unapologetically old-school glamour (in the best way), and the iconic yellow-and-white striped rubber rings will stay with the bride for years to come.
WHY IT WORKS: If her dream hen weekend is sun, swims, and an easy, contained set-up where everyone can drift in and out, this is it. You’ve got multiple terraces, a private beach and an on-site bar that can carry the night when you want something low-effort but still feels like a good night. Pre-warning: this hotel is a gorgeous little maze — levels, stairs, lifts, tunnels — which is part of the charm… until you’re in heels and four Aperols deep.
INSIDER TIP: There are no bars that you can easily wander to close by, so you’re either making a night of the hotel bar (which is good), or you’re committing to a taxi/bus into Palma for the big nights, there is no in between. Taxis are cheap, buses even moreso but they stop at midnight.

Hotel Cappuccino is old-town Palma, but fancy. A five-star, art-filled little world where every corner feels intentionally styled. Interiors are giving Parisian in the best way and that glamorous sense that you’re meant to dress up, even for a coffee. There’s a palm-y courtyard moment, a rooftop pool and a terrace that feels like a private perch over the city, it’s the kind of hotel that makes your hen weekend feel instantly more expensive.
WHY IT WORKS: Location, location, location. You’re as central as you can possibly get, so the weekend runs with ease: wander out, dinner, bar, no taxi faff, no “where even is everyone?” texts. The terrace is made for that pre-dinner window where everyone meets for one, and suddenly you’re an hour late. Breakfast is genuinely a highlight — 10/10 for the porridge— and the service has that calm, capable energy that’s a godsend when you’re moving as a group.
INSIDER TIP: Not all rooms are created equal, some have baths and double sinks, some do not. And set rooftop expectations: the pool is tiny, and there are only around 10 loungers, so treat it as a bonus rather than the main event.
